Project History
Nobody visits a hospital website on a good day. Patients arrive worried, in discomfort or caring for someone they love. They have little patience for confusing menus. They want to know one thing. Who can help me, and how do I book? Many healthcare websites make that hard. Departments carry clinical names that mean little to patients. Doctor details are thin. Booking sits behind several steps. Anxious visitors leave and call somewhere else, or give up. Trust is everything in healthcare. Patients look for signs of experience before they book. A bare profile or a vague service list creates doubt at the worst time.
Medics Internationale offers care across several specialities. That range is a strength, but it also creates a navigation challenge. A first time visitor must find the right department fast. They also want proof of who will treat them. Accessibility matters too. Healthcare audiences include elderly patients and people visiting while unwell. Small text, weak contrast and cluttered pages cost real patients. The website had to support all of this. Different branches added complexity. Patients needed to know where to go, which doctors work there and how to get in touch. Mixed information leads to missed appointments. Time pressure is real as well. A parent with a sick child will not read long paragraphs. A patient in pain will not study a menu. They need one clear path, and they need it on a phone. Hospitals that understand this earn trust before the first appointment.
Medics Internationale approached Surlavish Technologies in Pakistan with a clear brief. Build a healthcare website that makes finding the right specialist feel simple during a stressful moment. Structure specialities clearly. Show doctor credentials. Offer an accessible path to booking an appointment. Our team started by thinking about the patient, not the page. Someone anxious and short on time needs fast navigation, plain language and visible next steps. Every layout, label and button was planned around that person. The brief also stressed tone. Calm, direct language works better than clinical jargon or promotional noise. The website needed to lower stress, not add to it. Every word and click had to earn its place.

What We Did
We designed the speciality architecture first. Each speciality has its own page with plain language descriptions instead of clinical terms. Visitors find the right department in a few clicks. We built a doctor profile system that shows qualifications, specialities and experience. Patients know exactly who they are booking with. Where needed, we added location specific pages, so patients can find the nearest branch, services and contact details without confusion. Doctor pages follow one clear layout, so patients compare credentials without confusion. Each profile pairs a name with a speciality and the experience behind it. Photos and short bios add a human touch that eases first time nerves. Forms ask only for what staff truly need. Every page keeps a clear call to action, so patients always know the next step. We also arranged content so key details, like specialities and doctor names, appear before longer explanations.
Our team also designed the appointment booking flow. Booking options appear on every relevant page, and the number of steps stays low. We chose clear typography, strong contrast and simple navigation. Elderly patients and visitors who feel unwell can use the site easily. The build covered full design and development, with content written in calm, direct language. The project ran for three to five weeks, from planning to launch. Content stays short and readable. Headings tell patients exactly what a section covers. We tested labels and button text against real patient questions. Which doctor treats this problem? When can I be seen?

Frequently asked questions
Why is speciality organisation so important on a healthcare website?
Patients arriving in discomfort need to find the right department quickly, so we structure specialities clearly with plain language descriptions rather than clinical terminology that can confuse first time visitors.
Can the website display doctor credentials and experience clearly?
Yes, we build detailed doctor profile pages covering qualifications, specialities and experience, which helps patients feel confident about who they are booking an appointment with.
How does the site make appointment booking easier for patients?
We keep booking options visible on every relevant page and minimise the number of steps required, since a complicated booking process is a common reason patients abandon healthcare websites.
Do you consider accessibility when designing healthcare websites?
We prioritise clear typography, sufficient contrast and simple navigation throughout, since healthcare audiences include elderly patients and individuals who may be visiting the site while unwell.
Can the site support multiple locations or branches?
Yes, we build location specific pages where needed, so patients can find the nearest branch, relevant specialities and contact details without confusion across a multi location healthcare provider.
